They are involved primarily in cell growth and organisation, but also affect bud growth, and control the leaf ageing process. Amino acids are required by plants throughout all their growing stages. They have an important nutritional function during the production of important substances within your plants. They are the starting points that the plant uses to produce vitamins, chlorophyll, enzymes, and proteins. Amino acids also act as chelating molecules of essential nutrients for normal development of the plant.
